Selina Nwulu is a researcher with the Creative Learning and Development Team. She has worked on a variety of projects at the RSA, most recently a report on supplementary schools and their role in increasing life outcomes for black and minority ethnic children in the UK. She has previously worked at UNIFEM, the Equality and Human Rights Commission and a number of environmental think tank and charity organisations on a variety of policy, research and public affairs roles. She has an MSc in education and social policy (achieving a distinction) at Birkbeck, university of London. She is a poet and writer and has written for a number of newspaper outlets including the Guardian. She is currently Young Poet Laureate for London.
