Adanna Shallowe

Adanna is a Senior Global Manager.

Adanna is the RSA’s global insights lead responsible for harnessing global thought leadership & intelligence on the RSA’s programmes and approaches. She also cultivates and identifies new opportunities for the RSA to shape policy and strategic engagements with partners around the world.

She is also an accomplished relationship manager and with significant experience in the field of international affairs and development. Previously, Adanna was the project lead for international skills development programme for UK youth aged 18 – 26 years. She represented the UK in two international TVET organisations; WorldSkills International and WorldSkills Europe and co led UK delegations at several regional and international skills competitions.

Adanna also held research positions with the Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Planning and Development – Vision 2020 National Strategic Development Initiative and Ministry of Social Development – National Community Mediation Programme. For the United Nations Development Programme, Adanna was the Research Analyst for the Caribbean Sub Regional Research Facility on their key practice areas on democratic governance, poverty reduction, disaster resilience and HIV/AIDS education and prevention.

As a foresight practitioner, she is passionate about employing foresight tools to empower everyone to create more just and equitable futures for their communities and societies. She is also a member of Diaspora Futures Collective, an online community of BIPOC futurists examining issues of equity and power in the futures field.

Adanna is based in London but is a Trini to the bone.
