Angela is a Network Engagement Coordinator for RSA Scotland.
Angela is a PR and events professional who has worked within publishing, the arts and not-for-profit sectors for over 20 years.
She previously worked as Communications Director at Canongate Books where she promoted a diverse range of authors on everything from mental health, neuroscience and psychology to society, music and literature.
She has a wealth of event experience from launching Letters Live, a live literary tour celebrating the power of written correspondence, to creating salons at the Barbican and the House of St Barnabas in London, and cofounding Book Slam, London’s first and biggest ‘literary cabaret’ night where authors and poets shared the stage with musicians.
In 2016 Angela set up her own PR and events consultancy, Good Thinking, working with many different publishers, and in 2018 she founded Edinburgh Wellbeing Festival, the first of its kind in Scotland.
