We have the Power to Create ideas and actions for social change. We know that a dash of inspiration and a dollop of encouragement can help. Join us for a season of events and workshops facilitated by CoLab Dudley in partnership with the RSA West Midlands, which focus on growing the creative confidence of people from and working with communities in Dudley borough and beyond.
Each event and workshop in this season will be a step in a journey through some key ideas and approaches. You may choose to come on the whole journey, and join a growing group of like-minded people who can support each other to learn, create and innovate; alternatively you may choose to dip into individual activities which hold a particular interest for you. Each event and workshop will be self-contained, with no prior knowledge needed. Whatever works for you, we warmly welcome your contribution to any event or workshop. All of these activities are open to all and free to attend.

TOOLS AND TACTICS - Monthly practical workshops April - July 2016
The RSA believes the key to addressing the challenges which face public services lies in a shift in power to people and communities so that they can better meet their social and economic needs and aspirations. The RSA is currently exploring the contribution citizens make when we focus on their assets, and methods of design and delivery that use innovative methods of community collaboration and network building. Small teams in Dudley have also been experimenting around these themes in neighbourhood contexts. We have developed a range of Tools and Tactics which continue to evolve but which are ready to share. Through a series of participatory workshops, you can be introduced to them, try them out and contribute to future iterations. CoLab Dudley will be also be releasing them as free downloads.
