The Citizen Power Peterborough project, Arts and Social Change, was about strengthening networks and deepening attachment to the place through participation in the arts.
This project explored the role of arts and imagination in creating new connections between people and where they live in order to strengthen participation in community life in Peterborough.
The Knitting together Arts and Social Change report gives some context to this programme and explores how the arts can open up new ways of working which impact upon social capital, the identity of a place and our attachment to it and encourage active citizenship.
