Whether we're entrepreneurs persuading funders, employees pitching colleagues, politicians pushing policies, parents and teachers cajoling kids, social networkers trying to grow our Twitter following; we all spend our days trying to move others. Today, like it or not, we're all in sales. Each and every one of us spends time trying to persuade others to part with resources - money, time, attention - though most of the time we don't realise we're doing it.
