In particular, it explores how the governance landscape is changing with the rise of academies, multi-academy trusts, federations, regional schools commissioners and a plethora of new 'middle tier' bodies.
These changes have implications that impact way beyond the governing board itself, and promise to reframe headship and the relationship of schools with their communities in the process.
