RSA Screens

Join us for an exclusive preview of Maja Borg’s documentary film, Future My Love.

The screening will be followed by an audience Q&A session, with award-winning director Maja Borg and Hugh Knowles, principal sustainability advisor, Forum for the Future.

Future My Love takes us on a poetic road trip through the financial collapse, exploring a radically different economic and social model proposed by 95-year-old futurist Jacque Fresco. At a time of great uncertainty and upheaval, how much freedom are we prepared to allow each other? And how much responsibility are we ready to take for our society?

Carefully weaving a texture of archive footage, black and white Super 8 film, and colour HD, Maja poignantly depicts the universal struggle between our heads and hearts in challenging the free market system, rethinking institutions, and easing towards an economy that complements our modern reality.

This event is organised with Scottish Documentary Institute. There will be a drinks reception following the screening and discussion.
