Shami Chakrabarti, director of Liberty and one of the country’s most inspirational public figures, will discuss justice, freedom and social progress in a specially commissioned RSA lecture at the 2013 Birmingham Literature Festival. This event will be held in the largest public library in Europe, which is a major architectural and cultural project opening in Birmingham in September this year.
