Join us for another of our “Making Our Futures” events, where RSA Bristol brings people together to spark ideas and inspire action.

This time, we’re focusing on how residents of the city, as citizens, can actively help shape their local area. We will consider how different types of democratic initiatives can enable people to bring their ideas and expertise to improve how plans and decisions are made about the places they live in.

We will imagine what a good mixture of inclusive activities could look like in Bristol a year from now.

Our goal is to strengthen connections across the city and identify new ways of working together that can address local concerns, such as affordable housing, climate adaption, thriving high streets and more.

This gathering will bring together RSA Fellows, representatives from various sectors, academics, and community leaders to share how we can work better together.

The format will be time to reflect, listen to presentations about what people are already doine, join discussion groups and refine ideas to share more widely.

We would love to have your expertise present!

Who should attend:

Anyone interested in citizen participation, democracy, community development, urban planning, and creating a more inclusive Bristol. Please let us know if you’d like to participate and if you are unable to attend; we welcome your recommendations for other suitable representatives.
