We are now well into delivering our three-year programme Health as a Social Movement with NHS England, with a successful launch of the programme alongside National Learning Partners Nef and Nesta on 20th September.

Our current work is looking into how social movements contribute to and spread across different aspects of health and welbeing, with a particular focus on the 50 NHS England vanguard sites. This complements other ongoing work with Integrated Personal Commissioning pilots, with NHS England.

Through this work we are aiming to create an interconnected and forward-thinking health and wellbeing agenda, which recognises the unique angle the RSA can bring to the debate, and where we can share or scale up good practice that Fellows are already doing across the country.

We want to co-create this agenda with you, as Fellows and key stakeholders, building on your expert knowledge and lived experience. This event will build on previous workshops you may have attended, and other contributions you may have made towards shaping our current programme.

Specifically we're seeking support to:

  • Design our leadership development programme for 50 leaders in the 50 NHS New Care Model sites, giving the RSA a unique opportunity to shape and develop an influential cohort of emerging leaders in healthcare
  • Plan and coordinate our programme being mindful of the wider health policy landscape - what campaign can run as a legacy to our health programmes?
  • Disseminate our intial findings from our launch event and work towards producing a working paper outlining our learning from year 1

We hope you can join us at this informal session - refreshments will be provided.
