RSA Fellows and their guests, along with undergraduate students of architecture, are welcome to attend this joint event with the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland, who will discuss his idea that architecture transmits a message.
The Media, Creative Industries, Culture and Heritage Network, in a Joint Event with the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Edinburgh, is to welcome to Edinburgh a leading Polish architect, Stanislaw Denko.
RSA Fellows, non-Fellows and Design and Architecture Students are all also most welcome to attend.
Stanislaw Deńko will deliver an illustrated presentation on his idea that architecture transmits a message. Fellows and guests with an interest in design and architecture are invited to join us to discuss the utility, durability and beauty captured by some of the imaginative buildings developed by his practice.
His presentation will include details of buildings specific to his colleagues and himself: Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University, the Alma Tower (an office building) and Tadeusz Kantor- Cricoteka Museum. Stanisław Deńko is, amongst other memberships, a member of the Association of Polish Architects and the Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland.
Additional information may be found on the architect’s practice website ‘Wizja’: Wizja Architectural Office Kraków.
The MCICH network is grateful to the Consulate General for this collaboration.
