An evening With Patrick McIntonsh as he re-lives his experience walking 222km to the South Pole in order to raise awareness of cancer and the way our lifestyles can affect our health.
Despite (or because of) having been treated for three types of cancer, Patrick recently walked to the South Pole to raise awareness of cancer and what we can do for ourselves.
The 58-year-old Fellow is possibly the first triple cancer survivor to walk 222km to the South Pole and on 5 March, he will talk about this adventure and its importance, whilst emphasising the need for us to take control of our well-being. He also tells of the vital role of the National Health Service and public broadcasting.
