Does the under-resourcing of education for 16-18 year olds destroy the gains made in earlier phases of education?
Where are we now and what can be done going forward?
Join us for an evening to discuss challenges in further education. Martin Doel, Chief Executive of the Association of Colleges, will be taking a critical view of the consequences of underfunding of further education for 16-18 year olds.
Martin Doel's presentation is a part of RSA London's Inequality in Education Network's series of understanding unequal outcomes in education. The network is working towards a conference at the RSA in October, where Diane Reay, Professor of Education at University of Cambridge and Danny Dorling, Professor at the University of Oxford will engage with the audience to discuss the future of education in England. They are both passionate and informed critics of the education system.
The event is free, but please book your place.
