Join us for a special RSA Engage event, exploring Public Services and Communities.
We have an exciting evening in store: you’ll have the opportunity to network and hear lightning talks about the RSA’s work in Public Services and Communities from both RSA staff and Fellows trying to tackle public services issues in action with ideas and projects.
This event will be compered by Joanna Massie, Project Engagement Manager, and Nick Parker FRSA, and you’ll have a unique opportunity to hear more about the following:
Projects tackling some of the big issues facing communities and public services in the UK and beyond
The RSA’s work in Public Services in Communities and how you can get involved
How you can engage with the RSA in London and join a network of Fellows looking at creative approaches to Public Services
Fellow Ian Spero will present the keynote speech, talking about his work in healthcare, and why RSA Fellows should be involved in the long-term care revolution.
You’ll hear from Fellows that are looking to turn their ideas in to reality - each speaker will be on the lookout for certain skills or expertise and will offer clear ways for you to engage with their initiative. You’ll also hear from the RSA’s researchers on how we aim to enable people to take an active role in solving the problems in their own communities, driving innovation and changing the way that public services are designed, delivered and managed.
If you are looking to get involved with a potentially world changing project or be inspired by some amazing ideas, this is the event for you. Drinks will be available on arrival. This event is free to attend, but make sure to book your place.
Location: The Benjamin Franklin room, The RSA, 8 John Adam Street, London, WC2N 6EZ
