Join us for a talk from Dr Richard Siberstein on the latest developments in Neuroscience and Consciousness.
The majority of neuroscience studies concerning consciousness are predicated on the assumption that consciousness is a phenomenon that emerges solely as a result specific types of brain activity. In this talk, Dr Richard Siberstein will briefly review some recent neuroscience findings concerning human consciousness and go on to consider the implications of a range of replicated parapsychological studies. Specifically he will be examining the following question. Does the brain create consciousness or does it act as a channel or transducer for consciousness?
