More about the RSA Student Design Awards
The RSA Student Design Awards (SDA) is the world’s longest standing, most pioneering design curriculum and competition for university students, having run for over 90 years.
The annual SDA programme issues project briefs that challenge emerging designers to tackle social, environmental and economic issues through design thinking.
We work closely with industry partners to develop the briefs, we help colleges and universities embed them in their curricula, and we support participants through workshops and mentoring. We provide award winners with practical and financial support to launch their careers - including paid industry placements, mentoring from industry experts and connections to the RSA's global network of 27,000 Fellows.
