Join us for our first RSA Fellows’ Inequality in Education network event of the year. Our speaker for this event will be Lewis Iwu, Director of The Fair Education Alliance.
We have invited Lewis to share the strategic priorities for change as seen by the coalition and also to share his insights on campaigning for social change.
The fair Education alliance is a coalition of organisations from across business, education and charities. Together the alliance is working to tackle educational inequality. Their aim is to build a fairer education for all by 2022. They are one of the main organisations campaigning in this area. The Alliance includes the RSA. Find out more on their website.
Following Lewis’ talk we will open things up for an evening of discussion and debate.
The network meets bi-monthly from 18:30 to 20:30 in the evening. Our aim is to provide high quality presenters from the education or political worlds and use them to lead discussion on an aspect of the drivers of unequal outcomes in education in England. Please keep the following dates in the diary: 15 March, 17 May, 12 July, 8 November – and keep an eye out in newsletters for more information.
