The Scottish Government has made clear its ambition for Scotland to become an entrepreneurial leader, a nation of innovation and ideas. Yet this ambition is rooted in a desire for this growth to be inclusive and to help deliver a fairer Scotland for all its citizens.
Join RSA Scotland for an evening exploring these themes with some leading figures from Scotland and beyond:
Tony Greenham, Director of Economy, Enterprise and Manufacturing at the RSA, will outline the future for economic development and in particular the key aspects of what a new, more inclusive and citizen led economy could look like;
Bart Houlahan, Co-founder of B Lab, will share his experience of developing an ethically led company from the ground up, and the need for mechanisms to lock in values to companies;
Sandy Kennedy, Chief Executive of Entrepreneurial Scotland and the Saltire Foundation, will explore the entrepreneurial context in Scotland, and the hopes for the future.
This promises to be a stimulating evening, finished off with a chance to network over a glass of wine, and an invaluable contribution to the Scotland CAN DO Assembly which will be taking place in Glasgow the following day.
