Join us for our monthly RSA Fellows’ Mindfulness Network event as we explore gratitude.
Gratitude is a gracious acknowledgment that within the world there are good things, moments of unexpected blessings, serendipitous happiness, kindness, and beauty. Recent studies have concluded that the expression of gratitude can have profound and positive effects on our health, our moods, and even the survival of our marriages. The growing body of research shows that practising gratitude produces truly amazing physical and psychosocial benefits.
The March RSA London Mindfulness Network will look at gratitude, consider the neuroscience underlying the benefits of expressing gratitude, and provide concrete ways to practise gratitude within your daily life.
The aim of the RSA London Mindfulness Network is to engage, educate, and inspire Fellows to practise mindfulness and empower them to mainstream mindfulness in their lives and communities. The network enables Fellows to access research, practice mindfulness together and work with a network of practitioners, teachers, and Fellows to share strategies for incorporating mindfulness in our thoughts and words and deeds. An important goal of mindfulness is to create the conditions for the enlightened thinking and collaborative action needed to address today's most pressing challenges.
We will be holding monthly events throughout 2016 (with the exception of July and August). Further dates for 2016 to follow – please keep an eye out in your Fellowship newsletters.
Tea and coffee available on arrival. This is a free event but please do register so we know that you will be joining us.
