About Changing Tunes
Changing Tunes (London and South East) is a registered charity, which uses music teaching, rehearsing, recording, performance, improvisation, and composition to aid the rehabilitation of prisoners and ex-prisoners, contributing to reduced re-offending levels. The charity’s professional musicians work with prisoners in small groups and support all aspects of music-making. Weekly sessions provide natural opportunities to mentor, build self-esteem, educate, and develop trusted relationships to bring about positive change in people’s lives. The charity’s Director is Philip Emery FRSA, a member of the Fellows’ Artists Network. Find out more at www.changingtunes.org.uk and http://whatsonyourwalls.org/.
