RSA West Midlands: Basic Income - A practical solution or utopian dream?

Fellowship events

 -

The Duke William, Stourbridge

  • Economics and Finance
  • Fellowship

Join us for an in depth exploration of the potential opportunities and issues that a basic income could bring to you and to the wider society in the UK.

We'll be exploring:

  • What Basic Income is
  • Why it is so exciting
  • How such an idea would be rolled out
  • What would it mean for you

The RSA has been exploring the potential for a Citizens Income concept for some time and our speaker Anthony Painter leads the RSA in this area. We hope you’ll join us to hear his views and will consider this paper before joining us on 14 April: RSA Universal Basic Income Quick Guide.

This event is free and light refreshments will be provided. Please book your place by following the 'Book Now' link above.

Following this discussion on Basic Income, Keith Horsfall FRSA will be seeking your thoughts about convening a regular Stourbridge RSA meet up.

Location: Function Room, Duke William, Coventry Street, Stourbridge, DY8 1EP.

If you have any questions or for more information about local activity, please contact RSA Midlands Regional Manager, Rich Pickford: richard.pickford@rsa.org.uk.
