Explore the implications of fair work in Scotland for a range of stakeholders.
Speaker: Professor Patricia Findlay LLb, BA, DPhil (Oxon)
Fellows, guests, colleagues, and other members of the public, are warmly invited to attend this event, being held within Queen’s Cross Church by kind consent of RSA Fellow The Reverend Scott Rennie.
The purpose of the event is to examine the potential, challenges, and prospects for Fair Work in Scotland and its implications for a broad constituency of stakeholders. The Fair Work Convention recently defined fair work as work that offers effective voice, opportunity, security, fulfilment, and respect, that balances the rights and responsibilities of employers and workers, and that can generate benefits for individuals, organisations, and society.
