Meet and connect with other Fellows in the Oxford area.
Guest speaker: Flo van Dieman van Thor FRSA
Flo will initiate and facilitate a 30 minute Dementia Friends Information Session commencing at 7pm to leave time for discussion in and around usual networking and news of local Fellow-led project progress.
Flo’s introduction often gets people thinking about dementia in ways new to them and makes discussion much more 'real’. Dementia, with 800,000+ people diagnosed in the UK is a global issue we face, but tend to push to one side.
The evening will be light hearted, despite the serious topic. We'll also consider new formats for our future meetings.
Tickets are free of charge but please register your attendance. For any queries, please contact Peter Ashby: firstname.lastname@example.org
Location: City of Oxford College, Oxpens Road, Oxford, OX1 1SA
About the network
The RSA Fellowship in Oxford holds informal gatherings to provide FRSAs and guests with opportunities to socialise, share experiences, spark ideas, and support initiatives that can transform our places and people’s lives. We meet every third Thursday of each month, same time and place.
A number of local fellows (led by Peter Ashby) will be at hand to meet and greet you and introduce newcomers and guests to others. We will be providing “talk to me about” name badges to spark conversation. There will be no formal group discussion, as this event is designed to focus on meeting people, sharing ideas, and networking.
