Come and join us for a talk by Alan Hooper FRSA on leadership, followed by an opportunity for wider discussion.

Alan’s first career was with the Royal Marines (he was the first commanding officer of 40 Commando when they moved to Taunton). He then became an academic (he is the founder of the Centre for Leadership Studies at Exeter University) and is a visiting professor at the Bristol Leadership Centre. He is the co-author of the widely acclaimed book Intelligent Leadership and his broad and varied experience should ensure a stimulating evening.

Come along for an opportunity to meet and network with local Fellows. Guests of Fellows are always very welcome. An optional contribution on the door of £5 will help to defray costs.

If you have any queries about the event, please contact Event Lead Keith Read FRSAkeith.read44@gmail.com.

If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: networks@rsa.org.uk.

Location: The Creative Innovation Centre CIC, Memorial Hall, Paul Street, Taunton, TA1 3PF

Access: The Creative Innovation Centre can be found 50 yards from Taunton’s multi-storey car park and is housed on the corner of Paul Street, Taunton TA1 3PF. There are two other car parks near by. Buses drop off just 120 yards away and there is a taxi rank about 300 yards away. Just follow the A38 and when you get to some high rise buildings you will see the Paul Street turning and signs to car parks.
