Come and join us for the next lunchtime series in collaboration with Transform. At this session we’ll hear from Penny Hay FRSA, artist, educator, and co-founder of the Forest of Imagination. She’ll be in conversation with Alan Bec, RSA South-West Fellowship Councillor.

Penny Hay FRSA is well known for her work in co-curating the Forest of Imagination events. She is an artist and educator with a focused purpose and vision. I’m fascinated to gain some insights into what life experiences in particular drive her skillful ability to integrate arts, education, and participative action research? Why is creativity and exploration so important to children flourishing in education? What professional experiences formed her rare instinct to engage not just individuals and communities but institutions into designing and making powerful collaborative events as creative ecosystems?  What is it about “play”, “imagination”, and “space” that is so central to our lives? Why is it so important to Penny to encourage adults and children alike to explore their creative identity? Is there a personal philosophy or spirituality that underpins Penny’s impact on society? These questions along with your own will make for a fascinating interview to explore the mind and heart of a woman devoted to children's rights to the arts and creativity.

Bring your own lunch to eat and be inspired. Tea and coffee can be bought downstairs in Bordeaux Quay.

Tickets are free: please sign up above and contact Alan Bec FRSA with any questions: alanbecFRSA@realitycheckconsultancy.com
