Celebrate the second anniversary of the UN Sustainable Development Goals at the first in a series of RSA Global-sponsored online events.

The RSA Global Team is coordinating a series of online events this coming autumn, September — November 2017. The aim of the online events is to provide a platform for Fellows to meet and become activated, and inspired by each other in the virtual space.

The first event will be held on 28 September 2017, close to an important anniversary in the international calendar. On 25 September 2015, countries adopted a set of goals to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda. This was a historical, universal call to action to address the most intractable and difficult challenges facing modern humanity. Our event scheduled for Thursday 28 September 2017 will highlight the anniversary of the launch of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The event will focus on how we can use the SDG Framework to inspire local action, where we hope to inspire RSA Fellows to use the SDGs as a framework to undertake action in their local communities or countries.

Our speakers are Valerie Amato, Strategic Partnerships Advisor, Global Renaissance; Robin Dickinson, RSA Sustainability Network member and Sustainability Pathway Leader Regents University; Christine Losecaat, Chair, Advance; and Jennifer Andersson, an experienced brand strategist working with environmental and social enterprises.

If you have any questions about this event, or if you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: networks@rsa.org.uk.
