Come along to our RSA Greenwich Network Event this September where we have been offered meeting space in the riverside studio of Professor David Cotterrell FRSA.

This is part of our ‘moving around the Royal Borough’ during our summer meetings, and yes it is inside the Borough – by a few yards.

In this unusual venue with its eclectic art content we’ll talk about art and communication. Then we’ll pick up on the gently gathering momentum for doing something in the area of housing development planning; not blindly opposing, but perhaps contributing to the societal aspects of the numerous large developments in the area. We will ensure there’s time for other ideas and requests for help – anything relevant to the RSA in Greenwich.

Whether you've not been to a gathering for a while or you're a regular, do come and join us to meet other Fellows and help shape debate in and around the Greenwich area.

If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: networks@rsa.org.uk

Any questions, please contact Network Lead Nic Vine: nic@nicvine.com

Location: David Cotterrell Studio, 1 Borthwick Street, London, SE8 3GH

ABOUT THIS NETWORK

The Greenwich Network draws Fellows from all over south-east London; although we don’t have to live or work in Greenwich, it is a convenient place to visit with many transport links. We met quarterly in 2015 and 2016 for informal networking and sharing of ideas. Topics for discussion and calls to action come from Fellows; we have contributed ideas and resources to a number of local projects across different themes including education, transport, and arts and heritage, because we are a geographic network. In 2017 we plan to meet around eight times, with the intention of achieving some continuity of action on local projects or national projects in a local context, as well as inviting new pitches and discussions. Watch out for meeting announcements in the London Newsletter, and sign up for stimulating and rewarding evenings.
