RSA Heritage Network Launch

Fellowship events

Benjamin Franklin Room, RSA House

Join us for the launch of our Heritage Network. This will be an opportunity to explore how the Heritage Index has inspired action and find out how you can be part of this Fellow led network for change.

Heritage is among the most powerful resources that connect people and place. Research from the RSA has evidenced the power of both heritage assets and heritage activities, and has been matched by impactful local actions led by RSA Fellows.

Do you work or volunteer to preserve or promote material culture and intangible assets? If you are inspired by collections and spaces that define the identity of a community and its sense of place, or are interested in how to build belonging and ownership locally, then we need you to help launch the RSA’s newest network for change.

In the last year, the RSA and a group of Fellows have been working on shaping a new network with a national remit and an international vision, a focus on heritage, and a commitment to supporting the sector to address the challenges of engagement and participation.

The purpose of the network is to foster action through new collaborations, exchanging ideas, practices, and insights in the UK and other countries. We want to showcase and support those using the RSA Heritage Index as a compelling tool and to strengthen its potential for engagement, advocacy, and decision-making.

If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: networks@rsa.org.uk. Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements or severe allergies.

The RSA Heritage Network is driven by Fellows who volunteer their time and are supported by the RSA. We're looking for Fellows who have a good understanding of the heritage sector to act as the main contact point for their area and help mobilise/facilitate Fellows in running events and coordinating activity. Find out more here.

Location: Benjamin Franklin Room, The RSA, 8 John Adam Street, London, WC2N 6EZ
