  • Fellowship

RSA Ideas is designed to help Fellows develop their early stage projects or ideas by drawing on the knowledge, skills, and connections of others in the network.

Would you value the insights of others as you shape an idea that has the potential to create social change? Do you have skills or expertise that could help someone else turn a great idea into reality?

Join us at RSA Ideas to:

  • Give a three-minute pitch on the night
  • Help others by sharing thoughts, suggestions, expertise, and connections in a supportive environment
  • Meet other Fellows and social entrepreneurs
  • Play your part in turning great ideas into a reality with the RSA

Timetable:

18.00: networking and refreshments

18:40: pitches begin and ideas start bouncing

20.20: wrapping up and networking

More Information

What is RSA Ideas?

RSA Ideas events are a space for Fellows to share their ideas and early-stage projects with others in an open, collaborative, and creative environment. RSA Ideas is designed for groups of up to 40 people to ensure everyone attending is able to participate fully and contribute to the event. Drawing on the expertise of our network, RSA Ideas helps people shape their ideas and turn them into a reality.

What’s the format?

RSA Ideas is an informal event but is well structured and packs a lot in to one session. The event is broken in to two main parts for the pitching, with opportunities for networking both before and after. Each section lasts for up to 40 minutes and provides a space for up to five pitches. Each pitch lasts three minutes and is followed by a further three minutes for audience members to ask questions, make suggestions, or challenge the pitcher's thinking. As time is limited, participants can also share their thoughts/ideas on cards provided. This is generally a seated event; however, people usually stand and interact with others during the networking sessions.

Who can attend?

Our Fellowship events are free to attend, but due to their popularity we ask that you please register in advance by following the ‘Book Now’ link at the top of this page. We welcome non-Fellows who support the work of the RSA and those who are interested in finding out more about Fellowship. You can only book one ticket at a time so if you would like to invite a guest, please send them this link and ask them to sign up.

You can also sign up to pitch your idea. You do this during the registration on Eventbrite and the first ten ideas submitted will be given the spaces.
