The RSA Fellowship in Oxford invite you to our first Networking event of 2018.
The meeting will be hosted by our key note speaker, Steve Burgess, CEO of the Oxford Trust.
This organisation operates across Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire with a focus in three main areas; Enterprise – helping tech companies get started, Education – promoting STEM learning and careers in primary & secondary schools and Engagement – promoting the public understanding of science & technology.
In early spring 2018 the Trust will be opening a revamped 3,000 sq. ft. creative space in its OCFI building, located next to Oxford Castle. The space will house a full suite of prototyping and electronic equipment (enabling 3D printing, laser cutting, PCB milling etc). It will be available to start-ups and young businesses, who require help to design and prototype their ideas. In addition to crafters and makers who need space and tools and by young people through classes and workshops.
The Oxford Trust is seeking experienced volunteers, skilled in product design and development, to help them in their mission “to make ‘making’ products just as important as software!”
If you wish to attend please register as numbers are limited.
If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: networks@rsa.org.uk.
