RSA JFN: Immune to failure - learning to thrive in the age of uncertainty

Fellowship events

STOCK Takanawa, Tokyo

Life in the 21st century is putting unprecedented pressure on the human body and psyche. Its non-stop demands and distractions are challenging our sense of self and our sense of belonging. In this event, Alex Krawiec, the RSA Connector from Poland, will join us to explore how to turn these challenges to our advantage.

Drawing on her academic research and showing extracts from her award-winning documentaries, she will point to resources that can help us thrive amidst the uncertainties. As a participant you will also be invited to share your ideas and commit to actions you can take to address the challenges.

Alex Krawiec FRSA is an author and documentary-maker specialising in socio-economic and science-related issues. Her works include the award-winning, full-length documentary "Passion for Life" featuring Sir David Attenborough, and "Project Mars", a film documenting the 2013 Analogue Mars expedition to the Sahara Desert. She is a TEDx speaker, a member of the Austrian Space Forum, and Polish Connector for the RSA.

This event will be run in English, with informal Japanese translation.

This event will be held at 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM JST
