Join RSA Nottingham Fellows for the Local Creative Hubs Summit 2018.
An idea that first emerged as part of Nottingham’s bid to be European Capital of Culture, the ambition is for Nottingham to become a city that pioneers cultural democracy - the idea that anyone from anywhere in our city is able to access our city’s cultural and creative offer.
So, we invite you to join the conversation and have your say as our city explores what Local Creative Hubs may mean for us, our sectors and the communities that we serve. Bring your ideas, be prepared to network, to meet new people, and work together!
PART 1: What is a Local Creative Hub? 1.30-4.30
An afternoon workshop and open space discussion about what Local Creative Hubs could bring to Nottingham, how they might work, what currently exists and what’s needed to make Local Creative Hubs successful and sustainable.
At this first summit, we’ll focus our discussion on two key areas: under 25s engagement and wider community engagement, but these are not exhaustive topics of what Local Creative Hubs might be, just a wide starting point to bring together the largest number of partners into one room, talking and discussing together!
Please Note that PART 2 of this event that was originally scheduled to take place in the evening has been postponed due to the speakers being indisposed. PART 2 will be reschuled in Autumn with details to follow in due course.
We’ll provide the drinks and the nibbles, you just need to sit back, relax, network and be inspired!
