Join us for the next RSA Worcester Meetup this September.
During this event, we'll be having an illustrated talk on bellringing at Worcester Cathedral, home of one of the finest rings of bells in the world. The talk will cover the history and culture of bellringing and how the Cathedral's bellringers are at the forefront of developments teaching this unusual performing art.
Joining us for the talk will be Mark Regan, Ringing Master at Worcester Cathedral and a member of the Bishop's Advisory Committee for the care of churches in the Diocese. Mark was a Churchwarden at St Mary le Bow, Cheapside in the City of London and also rang at St Paul's Cathedral.
Mark worked at Express Newspapers, the Economist and Classic fM, and now works as a consultant for Shell and Severn Trent. He taught for five years at the University of Worcester's Business School and now volunteers as a classroom assistant at Christopher Whitehead Language College.
