The Mindful Living Network is hosting an evening on “Creating a Mindful Workplace.” The press reports that working people in the UK spend over two-thirds of their waking hours at work, yet our stressful and depleting work environments are creating absenteeism and presenteeism which costs billions to our economy and untold losses in the quality of our lives.
On Tuesday 20 November the Mindful Living Network will present and encourage the sharing of insights from neuroscience, management and leadership studies and practical and effective methods to evolve your workplaces culture to nurture rather than deplete individual and company wellbeing.
Our special guest on the evening is Sophie Maclaren, Lecturer at Oxford University of Mindfulness in Business and Leadership, will discuss the why and how to bring mindfulness into the workplace, sharing what the mindful workplace would look like and experiences of bringing mindfulness into companies.
The Mindful Living Network’s mission is “to engage, educate and inspire Fellows to live more purposeful, creative, inspired and mindful lives by sharing practical tools grounded on the latest scientific evidence and wisdom traditions.”
