In spite of the ‘hostile environment’ that many refugees in this country find themselves in, they offer an inspiring example of achievement and aspiration. RSA Stourbridge is providing an opportunity to hear first-hand from refugees and asylum seekers and those who work with them.
Through a combination of debate, discussion and musical performances, including from members of the RSA-supported European Youth Music Refugee Choir that recently featured on Channel 4 News, we will be able to share a glimpse of their lives.
It will take place at St Thomas’s Church Hall, Market Street, Stourbridge DY8 1AQ on Saturday 10 November between 3pm and 5pm. Refreshments will be served from 2.30pm and there will be an opportunity for Fellows to network and mingle afterwards.
This is a town centre venue and there is plenty of parking locally.
Admission is free but please reserve your place using the booking link above/below. Please feel free to bring a friend, family member or colleague.
If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: [email protected]. Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements or severe allergies.

That's a good step taken by the British Society, I really appreciate it, we all have to step forward for the refugees and we also have to help syrian refugees in uk
