The RSA Islington Network brings people together 4-5 times a year to discuss topics put forward by participants. Over the year these are likely to include both topical and longer-term issues, with the aim of engaging the unusually wide range of experience of participants.
In December, you are invited to a Network skills exchange, where members can offer and receive support from each other. So, if you have a project that needs volunteers, or some intelligent input from outsiders, you can ask the group to help you. Similarly if you want to get involved in a social change project based locally, in a variety of capacities, this may be your opportunity.
We have at least four members who would like to tell you about their projects or ideas, so they will be invited to speak - or ‘pitch’ - at one of our tables. We shall rotate so that everyone has a chance to be involved in more than one conversation.
Schedule:
6.30pm - Introduction to the evening
6.40pm - Introduction to the topics
6.50pm - First ‘pitch’
7.30pm - Short break to fill up
7.35pm - Second ‘pitch’
8.15pm - Sharing of highlights
