The RSA recently launched the Future Work Centre, aimed at enriching the lives of workers through research and practical interventions. Here in Japan too, the government has been promoting work style reform to improve health and well-being at work.

At our next event, RSA JFN will explore how the senses can be used to boost workers’ motivation, health and happiness. Sanae Okazaki FRSA will share findings from her company’s research into the effect of high resolution sounds in the workplace and Mariko Yoshida of Airarom Japan will describe how incense is being used to transform the worker's experience. You will be invited to come up with your own ideas for humanising the working environment, and test them out back at work.

Speakers:

· Sanae Okazaki FRSA, JVCKENWOOD Victor Entertainment

· Mariko Yoshida, Airarom Japan
