The first RSA meeting took place in Covent Garden in 1754. Last February Fellowship Councillor Neil McLennan met with Shetland RSA Fellows over a cup of coffee to discuss their individual work and joint interests, and this year he would like to have a catchup in the Shetlands once again.

Discussions with Shetland Fellows ranged from circular economy, sustainability, mental health, arts and culture.  There was a clear appetite to share more and the power of creative cooperation sharing ideas and working together on areas of joint interest.

The second meeting of the RSA Shetland Fellows will take place at 10.30-1200 on Saturday 9th February 2019.  Among the items for discussion are joint working, future RSA events on Shetland and “the most northerly coffee house.”
