Fellows working and interested in the Performing Arts sector are invited to the next meeting of the RSA Performing Arts Network.
The evening will start with the chance to network with the RSA Cultural Learning Evidence Champions Network.
The Evidence Champions will be there to discuss why they are interested in evidence and evaluation, and the work they have been doing to embed evidence into their practice. The Performing Arts Network has fed into RSA work in this field in the past and the networking session will be followed up with the chance to hear from Sam Grinsted, who will discuss the aims of the Cultural Learning Evidence Champions Network. We will discuss how to be involved in an evidence-rich sector, focusing on questions posed in the Evidence Champion’s Handbook, and how this relates to your own practice and its importance within other communities of practice.
Following this, the group will take time to look at what members would like to work towards and how much structure is needed to do this successfully. As a network we could develop a proposal for support for a project which explores and highlights the ways in which the arts can contribute to social change.
