Join us for the next RSA Salisbury Meetup. We'll be meeting at Porton Science Park to focus on the development of life sciences and innovation in our region.

South Wiltshire and the wider Wessex region are home to internationally renowned research and development facilities. Plans continue to reinforce what is one of the largest concentrations of life science expertise found in the UK.

The Porton Science Incubator is a new £10m state-of-the-art building that forms the first phase of the Porton Science Park in South Wiltshire. It is based near leading scientific institutions, the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl), and Public Health England, at the Porton Down Science Campus near Salisbury.

The Park will comprise 33,000m² of research and development accommodation on a 10-hectare site. The first phase comprises a 3,950m² incubator building. Further phases will be developed specifically for occupiers.

The scheme has the potential to create 2,000 jobs over 10 years. It is a milestone development for South Wiltshire, for the life sciences industry, with links to Salisbury Hospital, and the academic life sciences network, that will be of wide interest.

The meeting is open to non-Fellows and Fellows. We welcome all who support the work of the RSA and who are interested in finding out more about Porton Science Park. There will be an attendee limit of 30 people for this event so early registration is advised.

Directions: arrive by car at Porton Down. On the main road (Manor Farm Road) leading into the Science Campus, you will come across a road sign directing to Porton Science Park to the right.
