The RSA Fellowship in Oxford invite you to join us for a Panel talk on Diversity and Inclusion and discussion on Neurodiversity on Wednesday, June 19th at OUP, Great Clarendon St, Oxford OX2 6DP.

Neurodiversity refers to the different ways the brain can work and interpret information. People think about things differently, have different interests, motivations, and are better at some things than others. Tonight’s speakers will remind people that everyone is different and that can be a blessing:

Tasneem Bhopalwala (OUP) will talk from the perspective of creating a workplace that supports neurodiversity.

Dr. Kate West (Lecturer in Visual Criminology at Oxford Brookes University) will share excerpts from her 10-year long fieldnotes from her own experience as a dyslexic, attention-deficit different and visually-stressed student and now academic. She will reflect on a positive future vision of the academy that embraces neurodiversity and champions the natural creativity of learning different academics.

This will offer the opportunity for you to explore your own understanding and experiences on neurodiversity and discuss the topic in more detail.
