At our next gathering of the RSA Reinventing Work Network on Tuesday 1 October 2019* at 6.30pm, we’ll be exploring 'the human future of work’.
Many of the current future of work narratives are focused on the impact of technology, AI and the like, painting both dystopian and utopian vistas depending on viewpoint. Often the human dimension feels curiously absent or secondary, yet work is a core part of our existence.
So, we’ll be taking this opportunity to uncover the key themes for us humans in the future workplace…be that physical or virtual. What’s our role/purpose in work? What will matter to us as workers? What conditions will help us to continue making a valuable contribution? How will work fit with the rest of life? How will it contribute to health, wellbeing and happiness?
We’ll be taking an emergent and interactive approach to our exploration, in tune with the emergent nature of the future, so we hope you’ll have an enjoyable and different experience as we explore this important topic.
