Would you like to use your Fellowship to make a difference in your local school? Have you always wanted to know more about the RSA’s family of academies? Maybe you’d simply like to meet up with local Fellows and explore opportunities to connect?
Please join us for a special Fellowship meetup to find out all about a Fellow-led project, Driving Ambition, which is working to connect young people with the world beyond school.
Research demonstrates a clear link between young people’s early engagement with the world of work and their GCSE attainment. The RSA’s own Schools Without Walls research shows how schools are extending their impact within and beyond the school gates by working with their local communities.
During the evening we’ll hear first-hand from the Driving Ambition team, from a participating school and also from some students who have benefited from the project.
We’re also delighted to be joined by Executive Director of RSA Academies, Colin Hopkins, who will share with us his commitment to connecting pupils with the world beyond school, and the opportunities for Fellows to get involved.
This event is free to attend and open to Fellows, friends, and colleagues interested in supporting the work of the RSA.
Refreshments will be available and there’ll be time for informal networking.
If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: networks@rsa.org.uk. Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements or severe allergies.
Location: The Other Place (upper floor), Southern Lane, Stratford-Upon-Avon, CV37 6BB
