Perry Walker FRSA and Talk Shop have an RSA Catalyst award to get people talking about adult social care and its funding.
To do so, we provide a discussion kit involving sets of cards. A small group of around six people can organise their own discussion in someone’s home using a single kit. Alternatively, several kits can be used in a public event. More about our materials here.
In this special online event, open to all, we’ll do the following:

Share the origins of the kit, especially its link with the citizens’ assembly on social care.

Say what has worked well and less well and share some preliminary results.

Explain who has used the kit so far and get your ideas about who else might like to do so.

Talk through the contents of the kit and simulate discussion about what care the state should provide.
