RSA Tees Valley Network: Celebration and Action

You are invited to a festive evening at the MIMA, as RSA Tees Valley celebrates the extraordinary achievements of women on Teesside. Join us for stories, inspiration, and great discussion.

What does it mean to be a woman on Teesside in 2019? Tell your story, hear other perspectives and be inspired. Meet new people, share laughs and concerns. What are the real issues and opportunities for women today, in work and in life? All are welcome to invite or nominate women you feel deserve special mention too.

Come together with people from all backgrounds and sectors as we figure out, together, how we might best address our major challenges - the economy, the environment, the future of work, equality and diversity, the renewal or reinvention of our institutions and social contracts, the re-imagining of the place where we live and work, and the need for true co-operation.

This year alone, we've seen women take a lead in creating the unique Engineering Together project on Teesside, while large numbers of local girls have experienced confidence-boosting exposure to STEM subjects via Monster and the STEMETTES organisation, woman-led. Let's make the next year even more exciting.

It's been such a busy year in RSA Tees Valley Network.
