RSA Tees Valley: Gathering in Saltburn-by-the-Sea

RSA Tees Valley Network’s Women of Achievement initiative and beyond: We invite all friends and Fellows to join us for refreshments in Saltburn in the new year, to help decide the range of next year’s local activity and, of course, to have an enjoyable evening together.

In particular we follow up on our recent event at MIMA, and look toward turning our ideas into action through 2020 and beyond. Please come along if you'd like to be involved, or to find out more about our work and events.

We will be looking at the achievements of women in Teesside and how we can commemorate this, the future of work for men and women, and the emergence of a new show of women's art at our venue, the Bath Street Centre.

Attendees will also hear brief updates on how many of our exciting initiatives are progressing, such as:

• Our young democracy programme
• Borough Bridges work in local primary schools
• Engineering Together
• Great Exhibition of Tees Valley
• Monster and STEMETTES work with local young women
• Heritage and musical activity ref. Ormesby Hall, Boosbeck etc.
• Universal Basic Income and Teesside

Location: Bath Street Centre, 1-3 Bath Street, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, TS12 1BJ

Our venue is very close to Saltburn Station and is fully accessible, plus there is free parking in the street. There’s mixed artwork and a piano inside. RSA Fellows work at Bath Street on sustainable building design and extensive local arts projects to name just a few.
