The recent general election campaigns promised not only an end to austerity, but also a transformation of what the public receives from government spending. This March, the Network will be exploring how public spending could be reformed to promote more effective innovation in our public services.
The 11 March Budget should offer clues as to how the Government will alter its approach in its effort to achieve this. For this evening’s event we will hear from Martin Wheatley, an Associate of the Institute of Government and former senior civil servant, on prospects and implications for the decade ahead.
After Martin’s presentation and Q&A, there will be an opportunity to discuss key themes in small groups, followed by light refreshments and networking.
This event is free to attend and open to Fellows, friends, and colleagues interested in supporting the work of the RSA. To register a ticket, follow the 'Book Now' link above.
