Join us for an evening of inspiration and action, and help set the positive agenda for the coming years across the Tees Valley.
The event offers an opportunity to make new and fruitful connections, while learning more about the RSA, and about how we might grow practical projects and initiatives here on Teesside. We welcome Fellows, guests and Ed Cox, the RSA's Director of Public Services and Communities for a full, varied and exciting evening in the spectacular setting of MIMA in Middlesbrough.
Ed Cox will lead a practical workshop, exploring connections between the Tees Valley and the remit of the RSA's Action and Research Centre (ARC). ARC combines practical experimentation with rigorous research to create a unique programme of projects, and continues to explore a ‘place-based approach’ to its work. The purpose of this workshop is to explore opportunities to join up ARC research with Fellow’s ideas and networks in the Tees Valley area.
Prior to the workshop, you’re also invited to participate in a tour of MIMA, to find out more about the galleries and the social, artistic and cultural remit. This will be followed by an ideas exchange; RSA Fellows are invited to make a short presentation on their own work or projects, with focused networking to follow. Find out more below.
