RSA Meetup Bradford

Meet local RSA Fellows, 30 Chapel Street’s community of social entrepreneurs and people from across Bradford. Uniting people and ideas, we hope to create an informal space where inspiring discussions can spark and new ideas can be shared, on the theme of resolving the challenges that we face in and around Bradford.

30 Chapel Street and the RSA North are collaborating to host this informal, social event encouraging conversations and new connections. There will be opportunities to:

• Meet 30 Chapel Street’s creative community of social entrepreneurs, find out more about their work in Little Germany and their mission of social innovation in the city. 
• Find out more about the work of the RSA and how you can get involved.
• Network, share skills, ideas and areas of interest with one another.
• Showcase interesting projects in social innovation.

30 Chapel Street is a hub for arts, tech and social enterprise in Bradford’s historic Little Germany district. The Hub is a living lab for the city’s innovative communities whether they are social enterprises, small businesses, artists, performers, designers or makers. Bringing people together, and collectively creating an inclusive and democratic space, animated with innovative experiences, ranging from inspiring events to purposeful programmes of support.

We hope this meetup will inspire and connect people interested in innovative ideas and projects with social impact.

Format of the evening: 

6pm - 6:20 arrivals and refreshments 

6:20pm - 6:30 Rachael Barker and Kamran Rashid to introductions 

6:30 - 6:45 3 x speakers do presentation 

6:45 - 7:15 network, eat and drinks 

7:15 - 7:30 3 x speakers do presentations 

7:30 - 7:40 Rachel and Kamran wrap up 

7:40 - 8pm network 

8pm CLOSE 

Do you have a project you would like to showcase?
Complete the ‘showcase’ request when registering for your ticket. When places are filled, this option will not be available. Each participant in the showcase will have around 5 minutes maximum to share their project or idea, and this part of the evening will last no more than 30 minutes in total.
